AutoAid is an official sponsor in the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC)
AutoAid was acquired a number of years ago but new parent company, Right Choice Insurance Brokers Ltd (RCIB) and as many people may be aware, RCIB are, and have been avid sponsors of various teams and drivers within multiple disciplines of motorsport over the years. One such discipline in which RCIB, and more recently, AutoAid, have continually maintained sponsorship is the Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship (BTCC). For the 2017 and 2018 BTCC seasons, the AutoAid logo has appeared firstly on the top of, and now on the side of, the fabulous MG6 cars being raced (in the 2018 season) by AmDTuning.com. Moving the logo from the roof of the cars to the side for the 2018 season seemed to be a good omen, because in their very first official outing at the Brands Hatch Indy circuit in April 2018, BOTH drivers piloting the MGs finished within the points.
In 2019, still partnered with AmdTuning.com and also now CobraSport Exhausts, the team switched to Honda Civic Type R’s for their duo pairing of Rory Butcher, again, and Sam Tordoff. The swap of the car, experience in the team and a real ‘can do’ attitude saw Rory win his first race in the first weekend at Brands Hatch, although under a default to another driver which pushed Rory up from 2nd place.
